Gyldenholt practice. Day after Valentines.
Todays lesson includes:
So lets just say that, after 2 hours of fairly non stop shooting, my shoulders hurt, I have string bites on my elbow, and I think I hit the bale a grand total of 10 times. But I FEEL good. Because I did not give up, despite the depressing pattern of arrows going behind the targets. I was incredibly discouraged at some point, I told myself, "you WILL hit the bale this round, or you will take a break." And the last of my 6 arrows hit the bale... dead center. So I kept going. And that was how it was basically all day, just when I was ready to stop and take a break I would get a couple "not so terrible" shots.
Do not give up. the best archers in the world got there with years of practice. Do not expect to be hitting bulls eyes in the first month without some luck.
